A ‘Best in Field’ game bird or lark spit, beautifully made with six flesh forks fixed to a frame that is sprung to the stem and thereby adjustable in height. Beneath this is a trivet, adjustable by the same means, on which to rest a pan to catch any fat that falls from the cooking meat. The stem fixed to a most elegant tripod base by means of a large square nut, each leg terminating with an arrow-head foot.
